Successful grant development is a combination of writing, organization, attention to detail, and creativity. Whether you are looking to fund your nonprofit, or you want to learn a marketable skill, this class will help you understand what it takes to produce a successful grant application. During this hands-on interactive class you will learn how to get ready to develop a proposal, the common elements of a grant, how to align your mission, vision, and program activities to respond to a funding request, also learn  writing tips for making your grant request compelling and fundable. You'll receive a packet of resources that will support your quest for grant funding, and you will experience hands-on grant development activities that will ensure that you come out of the class with a complete understanding of the process. The $15 materials fee is included in the cost of the course. We have student parking in level P2 located underground at the Cesar E Chavez Campus at 1901 Main Street. To access the underground parking, head south on Main St. and turn right into the driveway behind the campus.  We also have a parking structure located at 1902 National Ave. Permits are required for both places. Permits are free for students and are available at the campus. Parking permits are not required for Saturday classes.
